Where is the furniture made and shipped from?
Every item is handmade and shipped from Salt Lake City, Utah.
What is the turnaround time?
Generally orders are completed and shipped in 4-6 weeks. Custom orders may take longer.
Is any assembly required?
Other than the beds (see below)all furniture ships completely assembled. Each piece of furniture is also braced in the interior corners to keep it squared throughout and beyond a lifetime of use.
Beds. Head and foot boards are shipped fully assembled. The side and support logs are numbered to match the numbers in the head and/or footboard for ease of assembly. Each bed is pre-fit before shipment.
Can I have it customized?
Absolutely!
Anything from stick figure drawings to full rendered artwork, we can work with you to bring your idea to life. We will also review the design to ensure we have a workable plan and can offer design alternatives if requested.
Maple, Pine, Alder, Aspen, Reclaimed Barnwood? We can work with an array of different wood species to make your piece perfect for you.
We Also have a large variety of stain colors to choose from as well as finish textures.

QUALITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP
Is it real, solid wood?
We only use wood from renewable and environmentally-friendly sources. All the trees we harvest are dead standing. Our Barnwood line recycles reclaimed wood that would otherwise go to waste. With very few exceptions, each piece is made from 100% solid wood. e.g drawer bases are built from plywood
Others companies may cut costs by using cheaper materials such as pressed wood and fiberboard, W e do not compromise the quality of your furniture or our reputation in any way. Our construction will withstand the test of time and heavy use, making your investment a sound one.
Small cracks and checks are natural characteristics of the logs we harvest These will not affect the stability or function of your furniture in any way.
Reclaimed lumber may include different wood colors and textures.
How are the pieces finished?
Due to natural variation, each piece of wood has its own unique coloring so we do not attempt to “match” wood in a piece or set.
If you want to ensure a more uniform color, we have different stains available.
Each piece is finished with a clear lacquer that will protect against stains, spills, and decay.
Do the drawers slide well?
On the Aspen and Barnwood furniture we use heavy duty, steel ball-bearing glides which allows each drawer to hold up to 100 pounds in weight
The drawers are built with a solid wood four-sided box to which the drawer face is attached. As all our furniture is hand built, there may be tiny differences in the size. Each drawer is numbered to match a corresponding number in the frame. This ensures a great fit .
